Tulisanku: A Handwritten Font for Modern Branding

It was a quiet afternoon when I opened a fresh brand board, ready to sketch out a new identity for a local café. The client wanted something warm, approachable, and slightly playful—something that felt like a handwritten note from a friend. I reached for Tulisanku, a Script Handwritten font that promised just that. What followed was a series of design tests that revealed the font’s true potential.

Tulisanku for Logo Design and Brand Identity

Tulisanku is a simple monoline handwritten sans serif font that captures the charm of casual handwriting with a clean, modern twist. Its smooth, even lines make it effortlessly readable while keeping a handcrafted feel. In logo design, this balance is crucial. I tested it on a café name, and the result was both inviting and professional. It didn’t feel too informal or too rigid, which made it perfect for a brand that wanted to feel personal but still trustworthy.

The font’s consistency across different weights helped maintain visual hierarchy without overwhelming the design. Whether used as a primary logo typeface or as an accent in a more complex layout, Tulisanku delivered a cohesive look that aligned with the café’s aesthetic.

Tulisanku for Packaging Design and Product Labels

Next, I placed Tulisanku on a packaging mockup for a line of handmade soaps. The font’s legibility at smaller sizes was impressive. It held up well on labels, where space is often limited and clarity is essential. The subtle swashes and ligatures added a touch of personality without sacrificing readability.

I also tried it on a product box with a short tagline. The result was a soft, friendly tone that matched the brand’s values. For a skincare line aiming to feel natural and authentic, Tulisanku was a strong choice. It didn’t shout, but it spoke clearly.

Tulisanku for Social Media Graphics and Web Headers

When I moved to social media graphics, Tulisanku proved its versatility. On an Instagram post promoting the café’s new menu, it worked well as a headline. The font’s fluidity gave the design a relaxed, conversational vibe that resonated with the target audience.

On a website header, it added a human touch to an otherwise digital experience. It wasn’t overly decorative, but it had enough character to stand out. Pairing it with a clean sans serif for body text created a balanced contrast that kept the design from feeling too chaotic.

Tulisanku for Business Cards and Print Materials

Testing Tulisanku on a business card was another highlight. The font’s simplicity made it easy to read at a glance, which is critical for a card that might be handed out quickly. The smooth strokes prevented any awkward spacing issues, ensuring that the contact information remained clear and polished.

For a flyer promoting a pop-up event, the font’s readability at small sizes was a major plus. It didn’t lose its charm when scaled down, which meant it could be used in multiple formats without compromising the brand’s visual identity.

Tulisanku for Editorial and Commercial Design Assets

In editorial design, Tulisanku performed well as a display font. It worked well for headlines and section titles, adding a sense of warmth without distracting from the content. When paired with a serif font for body text, it created a sophisticated yet approachable look.

For commercial design assets like posters and signage, the font’s legibility at larger sizes was a key advantage. It didn’t require extra spacing or adjustments, making it a practical choice for outdoor or high-traffic environments. The font’s clean structure also made it easier to use in multi-language projects, where consistency is important.

Tulisanku for Small Businesses and Creative Studios

Tulisanku is ideal for small businesses and creative studios looking for a font that feels personal yet professional. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of branding needs, from logos to packaging to digital assets. It’s especially useful for brands that want to communicate authenticity without sacrificing polish.

However, it’s not the best choice for long-form body text or formal corporate settings. While it’s readable, it lacks the structural rigor needed for extended reading. For those cases, a more traditional sans serif or serif font would be a better fit.

Before using Tulisanku in client work, I always recommend testing it in different sizes and contexts. This helps ensure that it works across all platforms and mediums. Checking the font’s licensing terms is also important, especially if the design will be used in commercial or print projects.
